To Illinois Community Bankers,

In 2004, our bank contracted with Data Security Specialists, LLC, in Urbana, Illinois to perform our annual Risk Assessment in compliance with information security regulations such as the Gramm Leach Bliley Act and other FFIEC regulations. DSS performed the Risk Assessment in a professional and timely manner. The 50 page bound summary of the Risk Assessment included a section on critical recommendations which the board implemented before our OCC Safety and Soundness and IT exam in April of 2005. The Risk Assessment report was well received by the examiners and they commented favorably on the board implementing the critical recommendations in a timely manner. Our bank was pleased with Data Security Specialists, LLC, and we appreciated the fact that they are a central Illinois firm and that the cost of the assessment was a fraction of what the national firms are charging.
